Equestrian

Equestrian athletes must have a strong core to endure the impact on their bodies caused by the bouncing and jumping of the horse. To prevent the body from collapsing, twisting, bouncing, or bobbing while riding, a strong core will help stabilize the body to maintain balance and absorb the movement of the horse. Plank on a stability ball increases core strength while also simulating a challenge for the body to remain still and balanced on the ball like you would need to be on the horse.
